Classes[]

Luna Online has a total of 60 classes that branch out from four base jobs[Fighter, Rogue, Mage, Majin Apprentice(Only in Luna Plus)]. Players select their class during character creation. Players can design hybrid characters. For example, a Mage who picks Priest can still become a Warlock, and retain all skills trained as a priest.


Class Progression[]

When a character reaches the level required for the next tier, he or she can change to any job listed in that tier, provided that racial requirements are met (human or elf). Upgrading job classes increases the amount of skills available for the character to learn.

Fighter Branch[]

This branch has three main class types:

  • Supportive Classes, who mainly focus in tanking monsters and protecting allies.
  • DPS Classes, who can deal high damage while Crowd Controlling enemies.
  • Hybrid Classes, who are something between Supportive and DPS classes.

Fighter[]

Fighters are first class of Fighter Class Tree. They are vital fighters with high protection and thanks to their armor, they can even be more tanky while still having decent damage.

Fighters can change to Guard or Warrior at level 20.







Guard[]

Guards are durable fighters, with much higher vitality and protection. They are excellent tanks and are welcomed to every party. Although, they are not very good damage dealers.

A guard can change to a Infantryman, Swordsman or Mercenary (Human Only) at level 40.







Warrior[]

Warrior are two handed damage dealer and good for solo play. A warrior can change to a Infantryman, Swordsman or Mercenary (Human Only) at level 40








Infantryman[]

Infantrymen are the advanced class of Guard. They are even more durable than Guards and have better skills to control monsters and protect party members.

Infantryman can change to Phalanx, Knight, Gladiator (Human Only) or Rune Knight (Elf Only) at level 40.







Swordsman[]

Swordsmen are the hybrid class of Guard and Warrior. They have both good protection and good damage. They have supportive buffs like HP and MP regeneration making them a decent soloers.

Swordsmen can change to Phalanx, Knight, Gladiator (Human Only) or Rune Knight (Elf Only) at level 75.







Mercenary[]

Mercenaries are advanced Warriors. They can deal much greater damage than warriors but they are less tanky which makes soloing a little hard for them, although they are great DPS in parties.

Mercenaries can change to Phalanx, Knight, Gladiator (Human Only) or Rune Knight (Elf Only) at level 75.







Phalanx[]

Phalanx is the advanced class of Infantryman. They are extremely durable, with powerful monster control and defense buffs.

Phalanx can change to Paladin, Panzer, Crusader, Destroyer(Human Only), Sword Master or Magnus (Elf Only) at level 105.







Knight[]


Knight can change to Paladin, Panzer, Crusader, Destroyer(Human Only), Sword Master or Magnus (Elf Only) at level 105.







Gladiator[]

Gladiators are advanced Mercenaries that are capable of dealing high single target and AoE damage.

Gladiator can change to Paladin, Panzer, Crusader, Destroyer(Human Only), Sword Master or Magnus (Elf Only) at level 105.






Rune Knight[]

Rune Knights are advanced Swordsman but unlike Knights they are mainly focused on magical spells and buffs.

Rune Knight can change to Paladin, Panzer, Crusader, Sword Master or Magnus (Elf Only) at level 105.

Rune Knights can only be played by Elf characters.





Paladin[]

Paladins are the most durable and tanky class in the whole game. With the correct stat and skill build, they can survive even the deadliest attacks and protect their party with all they have. Paladins are the best Tanks in the game.

They can change to Lord, Death Knight or Arch Templar at level 145.





Panzer[]

Panzers are special people. Unlike others, they prefer to use Musket while maintaining their defense with Plate Armor.

They can change to Lord, Death Knight or Arch Templar at level 145.







Crusader[]

Crusaders are masters of magical and holy power. Unlike other Fighter classes, most of their skills deal Magical Damage.

They can change to Lord, Death Knight or Arch Templar at level 145.






Destroyer[]

Destroyers are advanced Gladiators. They can deal very high AOE damage. Destroyers have the most damage in Fighter Classes.

They can change to Lord, Death Knight or Arch Templar at level 145.






Sword Master[]

Sword Masters are advanced Knights who prefer to use a second sword instead of a shield. They have Dual-Wield Passive skills which grants the ability to use dual wield weapons which increases their Atk.Speed.

They can change to Lord, Death Knight or Arch Templar at level 145.






Magnus[]

Magnuses are supportive type and advanced Rune Knights. They have many useful buffs which can help the party in any situation. Magnuses have the highest and best buff skills in Fighter Classes.

They can change to Lord, Death Knight or Arch Templar at level 145.






Lord[]

Lords are one of 3 Ultimate Classes of the Fighter Branch. They can cause chaos on enemies, making them unable to distinguish between allies and targets.








Death Knight[]

Death Knights are one of 3 Ultimate Classes of the Fighter Branch. They can use Nosferatu which grants them stat boost and the ability to heal themselves by damaging enemies.








Arch Templar[]

Arch Templar are one of 3 Ultimate Classes of the Fighter Branch. They can redirect damage to the caster.








Rogue Branch[]

This branch has three main class types:

  • Ranged Classes, who mainly focus in staying in range and attacking enemies with deadly ranged skills.
  • Single Target Classes, who can deal very high damage single to the target.
  • Hybrid Classes, who have various buffs and aoe skill which makes them more suitable for PVE than other two class types.

Rogue[]

Rogues are the swift classes of Luna. This branch focuses on single target, Damage over Time (DoT) and debuffs. Also the only classes in game that can use two types of weapons are in this branch.

Rogue can change to Voyager or Ruffian at level 20.








Voyager[]

Voyagers are advanced Rogues. Like Rogues, they can use both dagger and bow as their weapon. They also have buffs to increase important stats like Critical Rate, Movement Speed or Dodge.

A Voyager can change to Archer, Thief (Human Only) or Scout (Elf Only) at level 40.







Ruffian[]

Ruffians prefer to only use Dagger as their weapon. They are swift and deadly attackers with high damage single target skills. Their skills have a long cooldown though.

A Ruffian can change to Archer, Thief (Human Only) or Scout (Elf Only) at level 40.






Archer[]

Archers are advanced Voyagers but they like Bows more than Daggers. They have ranged skills and buffs and passives which mainly focuses on Critical Rate and Movement Speed.

An Archer can change to Ranger, Treasure Hunter, Assassin (Human Only) or Rune Walker (Elf Only) at level 75.








Thief[]

A Thief (Human Only) is an advanced Ruffian, prioritizing in stealthy single-target strikes, and can change to Ranger, Treasure Hunter, Assassin (Human Only) at level 75.










Scout[]

A Scout is an Elf-only hybrid of an Archer and Thief, allowing Dagger and Bow skills. Scouts can change to Ranger, Treasure Hunter, Rune Walker (Elf Only) at level 75.











Ranger[]

A Ranger is the advanced Archer, which has higher range. Rangers can change to Sniper, Entrapper, Blade Taker (Human Only), Temper Master (Elf Only) or Arch Ranger at level 105.









Treasure Hunter[]

A Treasure Hunter is a sub-branch class, which uses bombs that burn and poison enemies. Treasure Hunters can change to Sniper, Entrapper, Blade Taker (Human Only), Temper Master (Elf Only) or Arch Ranger at level 105.









Assassin[]

An Assassin (Human Only) is the main advancement of Thief that further improves its stealth, and lethal but single-target skills. Assassins can change to Sniper, Entrapper, Blade Taker (Human Only), Arch Ranger at level 105.











Rune Walker[]

A Rune Walker (Elf Only) is the advancement of Scout that has more Bow skills. Rune Walkers can change to Sniper, Entrapper, Temper Master (Elf Only) or Arch Ranger at level 105.










Sniper[]

A Sniper, as its name says, excels in longe-range combat, and uses Muskets. Snipers can change to Soul Eye, Blood Stalker or Arch Breezer at level 145.









Entrapper[]

An Entrapper is the advancement of Treasure Hunter, further improving its bombs and extortion abilities. Entrappers can change to Soul Eye, Blood Stalker or Arch Breezer at level 145.









Blade Taker[]

A Blade Taker is the Assassin's deadly advancement that allows dual-wielding Daggers. Blade Takers can change to Soul Eye, Blood Stalker or Arch Breezer at level 145.









Temper Master[]

A Temper Master Is the advanced rune walker class that can also dual-wield, but much weaker than Blade Taker's dual-wielding skills. Temper Masters can change to Soul Eye, Blood Stalker or Arch Breezer at level 145.









Arch Ranger[]

An Arch Ranger (or Wonderer on some servers) is the advanced Ranger, further improving its long-range capabilities, matching close,or even higher, against Snipers. Arch Rangers can change to Soul Eye, Blood Stalker or Arch Breezer at level 145.









Soul Eye[]

Soul Eye is one of the 3 Ultimate Classes in Rogue Branch. He can summon a bow to help him in battle.









Blood Stalker[]

Blood Stalker is one of the 3 Ultimate Classes in the Rogue Branch. He can use Epidemic which is a DoT skill which spreads to nearby enemies(players) like a virus!









Arch Breezer[]

Arch Breezer is one of the 3 Ultimate Classes in the Rogue Branch. He can summon a monster to help him in battle.









Mage Branch[]

This branch has three main class types:

  • Supportive Classes, who mainly focus on healing allies and protecting them.
  • AOE DPS Classes, who can deal high AOE Damge to the targets. Theses classes have the most powerful aoe skills in game.
  • Buff/Debuff Classes, who mainly focus on buffing allies and applying the worst debuffs to enemies.

Mage[]


A Mage can change to Cleric or Wizard at level 20.









Cleric[]


A Cleric is the basic support class of Mages, with heals, buffs, and holy attacks. Clerics can change to Priest, Sorcerer or Monk (Human Only) at level 40.









Wizard[]


A Wizard is the basic nuker of Mages, dishing out elemental attacks upon enemies. Wizard can change to Priest, Sorcerer or Monk (Human Only) at level 40.









Priest[]


A Priest is the advancement of Clerics, further improving its supportive abilities and adding a stealth-detection skill. Priests can change to Bishop, Warlock, Inquirer (Human Only) or Elemental Master (Elf Only) at level 75.









Sorcerer[]


A Sorcerer is a beef-uped version of a Wizard, adding more AoE abilities. Sorcerers can change to Bishop, Warlock, Inquirer (Human Only) or Elemental Master (Elf Only) at level 75.









Monk[]


A Monk is a unique, Human-only class that excels in hand-to-hand and quick combat, and the first Mage class to be able to wear Light Armor (full set, excluding Helmet), improving defense. Monks can change to Bishop, Warlock or Inquirer (Human Only) at level 75.









Bishop[]


A Bishop is the uber Priest with lots of powerful buffs and very strong healing skills. Bishops can change to Cardinal, Soul Arbiter, Grand Master, Necromancer (Human Only)or Rune Master (Elf Only) at level 105








Warlock[]


A Warlock is the Sorcerer's advancement with even more devastating magical skills. Warlocks can change to Cardinal, Soul Arbiter, Grand Master, Necromancer (Human Only)or Rune Master (Elf Only) at level 105.








Inquirer[]

An Inquirer is the advancement of a Monk, improving its already formidable melee specialty. Inquirers can change to Cardinal, Soul Arbiter, Grand Master, Necromancer (Human Only)or Rune Master (Elf Only) at level 105.








Elemental Master[]


An Elemental Master is the unique Elf-only class that's a closest variant to a Bishop, will good buffs. Elemental Masters can change to Cardinal, Soul Arbiter, Grand Master, Necromancer (Human Only)or Rune Master (Elf Only) at level 105.








Cardinal[]


A Cardinal is the powered Bishop, adding higher offensive capabilities to it's already impressive supportive abilities. Cardinals can change to Saint, Dark Archon or Arch Celebrant.








Soul Arbiter[]


A Soul Arbiter is the uber Inquirer, with the highest magical crit rate, and better binds and sleeps. Soul Arbiters can change to Saint, Dark Archon or Arch Celebrant.








Grand Master[]


A Grand Master is the Warlock's advancement with the AoE spells that are indiscriminately destructive, but with painfully long chant times. Grand Masters can change to Saint, Dark Archon or Arch Celebrant.








Necromancer[]


A Necromancer is a Human-only sub-branch advancement that uses enemies' corpses to his advantage! whether to heal himself or to deal damage to adversaries. They can also release highly lethal poisons than can match Cardinal's arrays of holy light. Necromancers can change to Saint, Dark Archon or Arch Celebrant.









Rune Master[]


A Rune Master is the Elemental Master's advancement and the Cardinal's closest rival in supporting allies, plus with the ability that's a bane to magical users. Rune Masters can change to Saint, Dark Archon or Arch Celebrant at level 125.









Saint[]


A Saint is one three Ultimate Classes in the Mage Branch. He can use Holy Ground to make allies invulnerable for a short amount of time.









Dark Archon[]


A Dark Archon is one three Ultimate Classes in the Mage Branch.








Arch Celebrant[]


An Arch Celebrant is one three Ultimate Classes in the Mage Branch. An Arch Celebrant can apply a very powerful debuff to a target which decreases its Damage, Movement Speed and Casting Time.









Majins[]

Majins are the only race in game who only have one class branch. Majin Classes have three main skills: Physical Damage Skills, Magical Damage Skills and Buffs/Debuffs. Pros and cons depends the type Majin you are. Physical Majins Skills are Melee while Magical Majin skills are ranged with longer cooldowns than Physical Majins. Please note that the Skills of Magical Majins are ranged not their Basic Attack.

Apprentice[]


An Apprentice can change to a Combatant at level 20.









Combatant[]


A Combatant can change to an Expert at level 40.









Expert[]


A Expert can change to a Master at level 70.









Master[]


A Master can change to an Abyss Lord at level 100.









Abyss Lord[]


An Abyss Lord can change to a Tyrant at level 125.
